Hi friends!
My name is Julia Green and I have a passion for Jesus. I am a student working on my graduate degree. My
specializations are Communication and Photography. My college has more of a small town country feel
which is one of my favorite parts about living here. I also own a photography business where I
specialize in weddings and portraits, although I’ll shoot anything from
families to animals. Originally I wanted
to create a photography blog, and I still plan on it, but recently I’ve felt as
though Jesus is leading me to create a blog about my passion for Him
first.
The blogging community is vast and I’ve already been
encouraged by Godly women who’ve poured their hearts out via blog spot. I’ve been reading many blogs over the past
couple months realizing that God can speak Truth through any medium. I have felt spiritually encouraged reading
blogs by woman I do not know and I hope that I will be able to be apart of the
blogging movement. I am excited for this
new adventure and anxiously looking forward to the future possibilities of a
new blogging community where we can encourage each other to focus on Jesus so
that He is the focal point of our lives.
This verse has comforted me when I do not know which way the
Lord wants to lead me. Knowing that God
has plans for our lives allows us to walk confidently and boldly wherever He
has us. His plans are not average; they
are hopeful and prosperous. Although his ways are not like our ways; they are
often peculiar and unexpected.
His ways are higher than our ways.
His ways are pure, good, righteous and holy. We can trust Him to lead
and direct our lives however He chooses because our God is a good God who has
our best interest in mind.
Many times in my life I have felt lost and confused on which
way I want to take my life. Should I
take this job or that? How should I
handle this conflict? Lord why do I just
feel so emotionally and physically tired?
I know I’m not alone in how I’ve felt because we have all felt lost at
different times in our lives.
Someone once told me that as hard as I try, my plans would
never amount to what the Lord has in store for me. This piece of wisdom was pivotal in my walk
with the Lord because I realized I had been relying on my own knowledge and
strength to find my way through life.
Friends, this is one of the most deceiving stumbling blocks in our
faith. When we begin to think we do not
need the Lords help we immediately turn down a harmful path. Blessings come from trusting God’s ability
and not my own.
I encourage us to walk confidently in the Lords presence, focusing
on Him before any decision is made. My prayer is that God would speak clearly
to each of us as we walk through life with Him.
Live in peace knowing He has it all under control!
Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day J
Your friend,
Julia
